I think that the scientists should be able to test what they want as long as it will not affect the Earth in a bad way. They dont know what a black hole is and if it would even hurt us. It might be something good and like take the Earth to another universe. This could be a good thing or it might be a bad thing and there is only one way to find out. If the scientist highly doubt that a black hole would form then they should try it out because then if it does works then we know a lot more about the beginning of the universe then we did. The media is telling people bad things and the media doesn't know what will happen so they should just stay out of it until it happens and we find out what happens.
